It is a native plant of Europe and Asia but now it is grown globally owing to its high usage in medical therapies. The Chamomile flower consists of white petals with yellow central disc florets. Fully grown plant has a height between 25 to 40 centimetres.  It is cultivated within 2 to 3 weeks. Chamomile is widely used in medicine as it is reach in chemicals and enzymes that can heal the human body.

One of the main products manufactured from Chamomile is soap which is helpful in solving several skin related problems. You can either manufacture soap in your home or you can choose from the wide range of brands available in the market. This soap is manufactured from Chamomile oil which is extracted from the flower petals and yellow florets. The chief constituents of this oil include chamazulene, a-bisabolol, bisabolol oxide A and B, caryophyllene etc.

Preparing Soap in home

Home-made Chamomile soap can be prepared by taking a glycerine melt and pure soap base. This is mixed with Chamomile oil along with Lavender oil to provide it a pleasant smell. Then further 1 teaspoon of ground Chamomile, dried and crushed lavender flowers, dried marigold flower petals and soap mold. After melting the soap base, the other ingredients are mixed and grinded together and then added into the soap base. The entire mixture is then allowed to cool in soap mold.
